Announced today at the 2018 Open Education Global Conference in Delft, The Netherlands, the call for proposals to host the 2019 Open Education Global Conference is re-opened. Traditionally, the Conference is held in the spring but starting in 2019, the conference is moving to the Fall with preference for the month of November.
The Conference is the annual opportunity for researchers, practitioners, policy makers and educators to deeply explore open education and its impact on global education. Conference participants engage with thought leaders in open education and have the opportunity to share ideas, practices and discuss issues important to the future of education worldwide.
The Open Education Global Conference is the largest global conference devoted to open education. The 2018 Open Education Global Conference, hosted by TU Delft, attracted almost 400 participants from over 45 countries. The conference rotates to a different location each year. Hosting the Open Education Conference is a great way to raise awareness of open education and encourage its adoption and use in your country.
